Business Development Manager*in (w/m/x/d) - General Industry



  • Drive, manage and coordinate the respective business to secure sustainable profitable growth and reach a leading position in the market (primarily for the general industry)
  • Develop the business plan for tightening centric automation solutions by analyzing market trends and using your knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry to provide direction
  • Synchronize and contribute the development plan with the needs and progress of the automation initiative
  • Identifying key projects and applications that add most value to the product portfolio roadmap (for the general industry)
  • Selecting key customer projects and supporting local sales in discussions as an expert
  • Initiate and strengthen the network with partners
  • Develop sales competencies within the organization to increase hit rate and customer satisfaction
  • Support new product launch and sales campaigns local
  • Actively drive communication and cooperate with Customer Centers and key accounts and support them in the strategic sales process


  • Home-based in Germany
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or sales/ key account management of technical products with need of explanation, linked to automated assembly solutions
  • Experience in General Industry and/or Electronics
  • Technical academic degree within Engineering or other relevant area and high application knowledge around Automation
  • Business fluent in English and German (speaking and writing)
  • Team player with good communication skills with different stakeholders, at all levels of hierarchy
  • Extensive traveling (>50%) to visit our customers and build competence in the Customer Centers and Application Centers
  • Proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented with a collaborative and supportive mentality
